The driving force behind RAILNSCALE are two model railway enthusiasts from the Netherlands. Since 2009 we build our own model railway. Looking for suitable scenery products, we discovered that not everything we were looking for was available.

We wanted a Reichspost bus on our layout. In N-scale (1:160), there was no model available, so we had to build it ourself. Having converted an existing truck to a bus, we were not satisfied. Using 3D printing, we were able to create a much better version. Thus led one to the other, and we are now offering a growing range of products.

We don’t do the 3D printing ourself. We let others do that. We decided to do it this way, because the developments in 3D printing are going rapidly. We offer unpainted kits.

With our products we try to close the gaps in the already existing model range. Although we started with models from the period 1920-1940, we are expanding our range to other eras.

On January 7th 2019 Joris died. From that moment I continue my work at RAILNSCALE.
