Personal data that we process
RAILNSCALE processes your personal data by using our services and/or by providing them to us. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

Personal data processed by Shapeways
If you order products from us, you do so at DM-Toys, Modellbahn Union, or Shapeways. These firms 3D-print the product for you and arrange the payment and shipping of the product. RAILNSCALE receives from these firms an overview of all products sold. This overview does not state who the buyer is of the product. If you have created an account with Shapeways, we will send you an e-mail from Shapeways with the RAILNSCALE products you have ordered and a link to your account name. For example, we can send you a message via your account at Shapeways.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we can not check if a visitor is older than 16. We encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us and we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
RAILNSCALE processes your personal data for the following purposes:

RAILNSCALE does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.

• If you have subscribed to news items from our website, we will retain the personal data as long as you are a subscriber. Once you unsubscribe your personal data will be destroyed.
• Personal data provided to us in correspondence or via a contact form will be destroyed by us as soon as we no longer need them. For example, once a question you have asked has been answered satisfactorily.

RAILNSCALE will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide this information if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. You can send us a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data (our address details can be found on this page).

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and identification number black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We respond as quickly as possible, but in any case within four weeks, at your request.

RAILNSCALE would also like to point out that you have the opportunity to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. This is possible via their website.

How we protect personal data
RAILNSCALE takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
